Lord Jesus, we know that time is perhaps the most precious gift we have ever received. It is a non-renewable resource. It is the swiftly flowing river of our lives leading inevitably to the eternal shore of our ultimate and common destiny.
Once lived, our Lord Jesus, time is gone except as a memory or even more importantly as that which has changed for the better in us.
We thank God for the memories of this time of favor that we
have been privileged to share together.
We thank the Lord for good food, for the journey, for marvelous music
made, and, of course, for Holy Eucharist, too.
We thank you Lord for the new insights that have changed us from within…
for our broader vision of stewardship… for friendships new and those
renewed…for strength and purpose and fresh resolve..but, of course, the truth
is that all we have is this present moment; but, then, it is more than enough
since here in the present moment, we can find you and each other and here, with
your blessings, we move into our future with confidence, with the prayer that
we will always be your faithful stewards seeking to do your mission and to do
it in solidarity with each other.
Amen
Jesus reminds his disciples that only the Father knows when the Kingdom
will be realized in its fullness. No one
can truly predict it’s coming – no matter how hard we may try. What we must do is work to make the kingdom
more and more a reality in our world by serving those in need and speaking out
for those with no voice. Are you
willing to work for the Kingdom of God as a diocesan priest or religious
priest, brother or sister? If so, call the Office of Vocations @ 732-549-9770
or e-mail us at Neumannhse@aol.com.
Or you can visit our website at www.diometuchen.org/vocations.
“COULD YOU NOT WATCH ONE HOUR WITH ME?” You are invited to come to spend time with Jesus. Every Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12 Noon there is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in our Church. Stop in for just a minute or two. You will find it is time well spent.
LET US PRAY – That pro-life people may have the courage to allow their beliefs to shine brightly and thus lead many to justice.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS who are sick at home, in the hospital or in nursing
homes especially for Florence Altiere, Sister Rose Marita Lake, Anna Zeth,

Six year-old Angie and her four year-old brother Joel were sitting
together in church. Joel giggled, sang,
and talked out loud. Finally, his big
sister had enough. “You’re not supposed
to talk out loud in church!”
“Why? Who’s going to stop me?”
Joel asked.
Angie pointed to the back of the church and said, “See those two men
standing by the door? They’re hushers!”
