Today we celebrate
the birth of John the Baptist who heralded the advent of the Messiah. He prepared the way for the Lord’s
coming. Today, the way of the Lord
still needs to be proclaimed. Can you
be a voice to this world for the Lord?
One way is by being priest, deacon, or religious brother or sister. For more information, contact the Vocations
Office at 732-549-9770 or e-mail
us at Neumannhse@aol.com.

COULD YOU NOT WATCH ONE HOUR WITH ME?” You are invited to come to spend time with Jesus. Every Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12 Noon there is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in our Church. Stop in for just a minute or two. You will find it is time well spent.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS who are sick at home, in the hospital or in nursing homes and especially for Kenneth Voorhees, Ken Hicks, James Cruise, Florence Altiere, Sister Rose Marita Lake, Anna Zeth, Raffaella Shapiro, Doris Murmello, Mary Garretson, Theresa Jasinski, Sr. Mary Theresa Leddy, Haley Weber, Bev Torak, Yoshiaki Nakata, Adeline Imbriani, Theresa Buckley, Rose Stevenson, and Christian Sumner.
Let us pray – That the miracle of human life developing in the womb may move more people to oppose abortion.
When Elizabeth's time for
delivery arrived, she gave birth to a son. Her neighbors and relatives, upon
hearing that the Lord had extended his mercy to her, rejoiced with her. Lk 1:57-58

TWO TOUGH QUESTIONS:
Question 1: If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis; would you recommend that she have an abortion?
Question 2: It is time to elect a new leader, and your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three leading candidates:
Candidate A: Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He’s had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.
Candidate B: He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whisky every evening.
Candidate C: He is a decorated war hero. He’s a vegetarian, doesn’t smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn’t had any extramarital affairs.
Which of these candidates would be your choice?
The
following words were written by Andy Rooney, a man who has the gift of saying
so much with so few words:
I’ve learned..
That you should never say no to a gift from a child.
If you said yes to the abortion question, you killed Beethoven.
Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt
Candidate B is Winston
Churchill
Candidate C is Adolph
Hitler
Pretty interesting isn’t it. Makes a person think before judging someone.
