June 6th The Most Holy Trinity

Seasonal prop

Prop Gl Seq Cr  Pf of Trinity

166: Prv 8:22-31 Ps 8:4-9 Rom 5:1-5 Jn 16:12-15

We are at peace with God our Father through our Lord Jesus Christ.  God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.  This Spirit, who is Wisdom itself, will lead us into all truth.  How wonderful the name of our triune God in all the earth

THERE WILL BE A HEALING MASS ON TUESDAY, JUNE 15, 2004 AT 7:00 PM

PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS who are sick at home, in the hospital or in nursing homes, especially for Bill Fioravant, John Pongratz, Joseph Ballotta, Mary Ann Manley, Mary Pokotello, Hudson Savarin, Albert Schraeder, Rose Campanero, Patrick Puppo, John & Eileen Foxwell, Sr. Elinor Foxwell, F.M.M., Haley Weber, Cole Nesmith, James Murray (uncle of Karen Mathews), Vincent Anatele, Rose Stevenson, Blanche Ferarro, Teresa Kunz, Josephine Sarnoski, Joseph Morando and Lou Bocchino.

PRE-BAPTISMAL CLASS- The next Baptism Class will be on Monday, September 13, 2004.

Let Us Pray…For those who work in the abortion industry, that they may turn from the destruction they cause and seek the peace that comes from defending life.

When the issue is the life or death of innocent human beings, there can be no other issue of greater import.  If a politician were to say it is all right to kill persons of some particular race or religion because they were not quite human, the voters of his district would be outraged and consider no other issue more important than his defeat and condemnation.  The helpless and innocent child in the womb is not less worthy of such defense.

Bulletin editor).  All entries must be received by June 6th please.

St. Joseph Parish will open up its parking lot and participate in the Millstone Borough town-wide yard sale on June 22 from 9 am to 2 pm.  The church is located at 34 Yorktown Rd. just off Rte. 533 (Millstone River Rd.)  Directions available at www.stjosephsparish.com.  Concurrently, the church’s Youth Ministry will also hold a Car Wash.

Someone is Waiting for You!

How very fortunate we are to have the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every Thursday from 8:30 AM until 12 noon.  We are able to visit with Jesus, one on one, and to tell Him all of our troubles and worries and receive His Loving Peace and Comfort while in His Presence.

Won’t you come and visit Him?  It could be for 15 minutes, ˝ hour or 1 hour.  His Blessings are there for you.  Let’s not miss this beautiful Spiritual Opportunity.

Holy Name Society News

I have on previous occasions extolled the niceties of the retreat house at San Alfonso in West Long Branch, NJ. About the good food, the nice accommodations, the beach, and the caring staff. The speakers that bring out our unique Catholic upbringing. These servants of God are there to help and guide us. To hear our confessions and to ease our minds.  Many a time have I awakened early to go to the beach to await the miracle of a new day.  To watch the sun rise over the horizon. To feel the fresh breeze off the ocean and listen to the sound of the seagulls as they seek out their morning meal. How can anyone doubt that God is not alive after witnessing an everyday miracle?  Come to San Alfonso, where the sea and God come together. Visit with us and you will always want to return. Call Bob at 732 356 3975 for more information. Thank you.

Blessed Be HIS Holy Name.

When you get to your wit's end, you'll find God lives there.

People are funny--They want the front of the bus, the middle of the road, and the back of the church.

Opportunity may knock once, but temptation leans on the bell.

Quit griping about your church; if it was perfect, you couldn't belong.

The phrase that is guaranteed to wake up an audience: "And in conclusion."

If the church wants a better pastor, it only needs to pray for the one it has.

God Himself does not propose to judge a man until he is dead.  So why should you?

To make a long story short, don't tell it.

Some minds are like concrete, thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

Peace starts with a smile.

I don't know why some people change churches; what difference does it make which one you stay home from?

A lot of church members who are singing "Standing on the Promises" are just sitting on the premises.

We were called to be witnesses, not lawyers or judges.

Outside of traffic, there is nothing that holds this country back as much as committees.

Be ye fishers of men.  You catch them - He'll clean them.

Coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous.
