Humility and self-knowledge go hand in hand.  Those who conduct their affairs with humility shall be exalted, while those who exalt themselves shall be humbled.  The humble shall rejoice and exalt before God in the assembly of the heavenly Jerusalem.

Let Us Pray…That we may see the beauty and dignity of each human life regardless of size, age, or infirmity.

Someone is Waiting for You!

How very fortunate we are to have the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every Thursday from 8:30 AM until 12 noon.  We are able to visit with Jesus, one on one, and to tell Him all of our troubles and worries and receive His Loving Peace and Comfort while in His Presence.  Won’t you come and visit Him?  It could be for 15 minutes, ½ hour or 1 hour.  His Blessings are there for you.  Let’s not miss this beautiful Spiritual Opportunity.

PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS who are sick at home, in the hospital or in nursing homes, especially for Consuelo Healy, Bill Fioravant, John Pongratz, Joseph Ballotta, Mary Pokotello, Hudson Savarin, John Morondo, Albert Schraeder, Rose Campanero, Patrick Puppo, John & Eileen Foxwell, Sr. Elinor Foxwell, F.M.M., Haley Weber, Cole Nesmith, James Murray (uncle of Karen Mathews), Warren King (father of Karen Mathews), Vincent Anatele, Rose Stevenson, Blanche Ferarro, David Alliprandine, Ralph Ley, Teresa Kunz, Betty Connelly, Josephine Sarnoski, Ray Osborne, Brian Connelly, Kathleen McGivney and Joseph Morando.

Please remember in your prayers the repose of the soul of the Rev. Joseph M. Holup, who died on August 18, 2004.

Holy Name Society News

Dear parishioner and member, we are a rescheduling our monthly Holy Name Society meeting.  Our monthly meeting will be held following the normal 2nd Sunday of the month Communion Sunday down in the church hall.  This change eliminates having a meeting on a week night and rushing through dinner to get to the meeting on time. We hope that this change will encourage new members to come and former members of the Holy Name Society to rejoin us. We ask that you consider these recommendations and contact us on any and all suggestions.  Felix Reid, President, HNS (732) 469-2335

Blessed Be HIS Holy Name
