1 Thes 1:1-5b Mt 22:15-21

The Lord is king and there is no other.  We are to render to God, therefore, fitting praise and service, as is God’s due.  God’s word to us, in turn, is a matter of power & strength, to be lived with conviction of heart.

PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS who are sick at home, in the hospital or in nursing homes, especially for Frances Soweski, Irene Corrigan, David King, Mary Pokotello, John Foxwell, Haley Weber, Blanche Ferarro, Gladys Quinlan, Adam Platukis, Josephine Sarnoski, Marie Quinata, Andy Gonda, Nick Barber, Roseanne Scaletti, Anna Corrento, Barbara Van Pelt, Diane Manley, and Bryant Connelly (Betty’s son).

Please also pray for the soul of Reverend Harold Hirsch, Pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in Spotswood.  Let us be joined in prayer that Reverend Hirsch will find the fulfillment of his faith and the reward of his priestly labors in the presence of the Risen Lord.  May our prayerful support be a source of comfort to the Hirsch family and to all who mourn the loss of this fine priest.
