HELP WANTED – RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM

We are looking for teachers, teacher’s aides, and miscellaneous positions.  These positions are very rewarding in working with the children and the adults of tomorrow.  ATTENTION PARENTS OF CHILDREN ENROLLED IN THE CCD PROGRAM

Children currently enrolled in the program were given 2005-2006 registration forms.  We ask that parents enroll their children no later than the end of May 2005.  Completed forms and payment should be put in an envelope and marked CCD Registration.  They can be either dropped off at the Rectory or put in the weekly collection basket.

Questions can be addressed to Karen Mathews at 732-271-1750 or Nancy Sayre at 732-873-1453.

On June 25th, 2005 the second annual Race 4 Freedom 5K run will “take off” from Immaculata High School onto the historic streets of Somerville, New Jersey.  Last year on June 26th runners and walkers took their position in front of Immaculata High School, balanced and waiting for the sound of “George Washington’s” musket that would signal the start of this inaugural “Race for Freedom”; the freedom to allow all people, regardless of economic background, the choice of a Catholic education.  100% of the proceeds from the Race 4 Freedom provided the resources necessary to offer financial need based tuition assistance to qualified students seeking to enter Immaculata as well as current students.  Through this race we invite, inspire and challenge alumni, school families past and present, parishioners, runners and members of the community to join us in our ongoing mission to raise sufficient funds providing all children the opportunity to choose a Catholic education.
