NEW ALTAR SERVERS

All boys and girls of the parish in grade 3 through grade 12 are invited to become Altar Servers.  The training usually takes place on Saturday mornings, but other times can be arranged if Saturday mornings are not convenient.  In addition we are looking for men and women interested in becoming Senior Acolytes to serve the Mass at funerals. Next Sunday is RENEW Mission Sunday. It is the start of the RENEW program here at Our Lady of Mercy. Our speaker Christine Hearn kicks off the Mission with a unique presentation in the church at 7:00PM. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

There will be programs and activities for the younger children in the church hall so you need not worry about what to do with your children.

After the presentation, everyone is invited to the church hall for some light refreshments, and continued discussion of the presentation. The Mission sets the stage for the

RENEW process, which begins in earnest on the following weekend September 17 - 18. That's the time to sign-up for your Small Christian Community.

Golden & Silver Wedding Anniversary Celebrations will take place on October 16 2004 at 4:00 PM.  Arrangements can be made by contacting your parish office at 732-356-1037.  Application forms are available and will be accepted by the Family Life Office until Friday, September 3, 2004.  A confirmation letter will be sent once your application has been processed.
