2006 Bishop’s Annual Appeal
“I Give You Thanks, O Lord” Isaiah 12:1
Your gift to the 2006
Bishop’s Annual Appeal supports diocesan sponsored programs that promote
Catholic values that enhance human life and spiritual growth, providing
families with opportunities for enrichment, education and healing.
If you have already
made your gift or pledge to this year’s Appeal, Thank You! If you haven’t done
so yet, your help is still very much needed. Your gift to the Bishop/s Appeal
is crucial to our Church’s ability to serve more of God’s People in need.
“The
greatest among you will be the one who serves the rest.” Matthew 23: 11

Riddle Me This
1-You are participating in a race. You overtake the
second person. What position are you in?
2-If you overtake the last person, then you are...?
3- Very tricky arithmetic! Note: This must be done in your head only. Do
NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add
another 1000. Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000.
Now add 10. What is the total?
