November is National Adoption Awareness Month

This Sunday, please pray for the birthmothers & birthfathers making adoption plans for their babies, that they may be guided by wisdom to act with generosity and love, we pray to the Lord.

Nov. 6, 7:30pm:Bishop’s Second Annual Mass to Celebrate Adoption is scheduled at the Chapel of the St. John Newmann Diocesan Center, Piscataway. The evening is for all adoptive families and includes an open invitation to adoptees, adoptive parents, extened families and birthparents.

South Bound Brook World Community Day

Blessing of the Thanksgiving Loaves & Grapes

Nov. 22  Please join us for Mass at 7:00pm. After Mass, Father Dan will bless loaves of bread and grapes and distribute them among the parishioners. Parishioners are encouraged to share the blessed food with their loved ones on Thanksgiving Day. Everyone is welcome in the church hall after the blessing for light refreshments.

 

HOLY NAME SOCIETY NEWS

The drawing for the 50 /50 Raffle Club will be held following the Saturday, November 18, 2006 5:30 PM Mass, approximately 7: PM. Please sell your tickets and return all unsold books with the proper amount of money for the tickets sold. The returns can be dropped off in the mail chute at the rectory or placed in the collection baskets at mass. .All funds from this raffle will go towards the upkeep of our lovely church and the rectory. Please be as generous as your means allow.
