Stewardship for Beginners

Save the Date:  Saturday, April 22, 2006  (9:00 AM - Noon)

Is your parish just beginning a stewardship initiative or perhaps you are still in the “just thinking about it” stage.  This special workshop, geared for parishes new to stewardship, is a condensed version of three previous Stewardship Gatherings.  We will cover:  Conducting a Stewardship Commitment Campaign (including information on Ministry Expos), Lay Witnessing, and Time & Talent Follow-up.  Comprehensive, practical materials will be distributed.

There is no fee but we ask that you pre-register by contacting the Office of Stewardship by phone at 732-562-2432 or e-mail

smantarro@diometuchen.org.

 Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Every Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon there is adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in our church.  The Blessed Sacrament cannot be left alone and we are in need of someone to stay between 11:30 and 12:00.

Would someone find it in their hearts to make a commitment to be in church every Thursday morning for a short half hour and be with the Blessed Sacrament?  Being in the presence of Jesus, in a very peaceful place, will be one of the happiest experiences of your life.  We also are in need of individuals to stay at other times.

Please contact Rita Stryshak at 732-469-2874.  This is a project of the Rosary Altar Society.

A LIVE Event with Rhonda Britten, life coach on NBC's Starting Over

During this event, Rhonda will share with us her personal story which lead her to become a source of strength for the millions of people she helps. We want to share this opportunity with your parishioners to meet Rhonda as she offers her guidance and counsel to help women move forward with their lives.  She will offer a guide that shows women how to reshape their attitudes and befriend their bodies--first by facing and accepting what they see in the mirror, and then by empowering themselves to make healthier decisions about food and exercise.

Lecture to be held on Wednesday, April 12, at 7pm at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased by calling 800/483-7436 or online at www.friendshealthconnection.org.
