RDGS 106:
Rom 8:26-27 Mt
In his patience, the Lord allows both weeds and wheat
to grow together, both saints and sinners to respond to salvation in the
Kingdom (3). This Lord is good and forgiving (Ps), lenient to all, desiring
repentance for our sins (1). May the Spirit assist us in our weakness (2).
Stewardship
“Those who are just must be kind,” says today’s first reading. If our
words and deeds are kind and selfless, we will be like the good seed in the
Gospel parable and gathered as wheat in the Lord’s harvest. See
Wisdom 12:19

PLEASE
PRAY FOR ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS
For
those who are ill, especially: Patricia
Ryan, Josephine Sarnoski, Blanche Ferraro, Al & Ruth Schraeder, Elizabeth
Connelly, Genevieve Casey, Christine Dyke, Peter Yazgier, Alexandra Collard and
Maura O’Farrell may they receive the help they need from loving care givers, we
pray to the Lord…

Let us remember in our prayers Rev. John M. Skwara
whom God has called home.

EXERCISE FOR PEOPLE OVER 40
Begin by
standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.
With a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight
out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full
minute, and then relax.
Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a
bit longer.
After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato sacks.
Then try 50-lb potato sacks and then eventually try to
get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato sack in each hand and hold your arms
straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.)
After you
feel confident at that level, put a potato
in each of the sacks.
