This collection is used for the following national initiatives:

Catholic Relief Services –Programs include relief
and resettlement services to the victims of persecution, war and natural
disasters as well as development projects to improve the living conditions of
the poor.

Black & Indian Missions – Last year, support went to
some of the neediest people across the
Theology of
the Body
A mini-workshop and
introduction to God’s plan for a joy filled marriage. This adult faith
formation workshop is a basic introduction of Pope John Paul II’s teachings as
they relate to marital love, sexual union and the human body, commonly referred
to as the “the theology of the body.”
The theology of the body teaching is the cornerstone for the new catechetical
session for engaged couples, “God’s Plan
for a Joy-Filled Marriage.”

Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministry would like to invite Young Adults to
a one day retreat on
Encountering God’s Desire for Us in
Everyday Life
Listening to the Whisper of
God with an attentive heart in Prayer, through the use of imagination,
journaling and in the Scriptures. We will conclude the day with the celebration
of Sunday Liturgy.
The cost for the day is $35 per person, including coffee & bagels & lunch.

Scout Sunday on March 8th
This Sunday, March
8th , Troop 245 has invited all Girl Scouts past and present to have
a seat in the front pews at the 10 am Mass. Parishioners - if you could leave the first few pews open
at that Mass for all the Girl Scouts to sit together, it would be appreciated.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt
will be once again on Palm Sunday, April 5th immediately following the
Diocesan Youth Day
For All teens from 8th to
12th Grades: Join hundreds of teens throughout the diocese and enjoy a
day created just for you. It is the Diocesan Youth Day on March 21st
