Peter proclaims the wonders of the Lord: the suffering Messiah is raised from the dead and has been glorified. This Jesus is our intercessor, and our offering for sin, our peace.

Stewardship

The disciples in today’s Gospel came to know Jesus in the breaking of the bread. When we share what we have with those who are in need, we, too, will discover Jesus in our midst.

PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS

For those who are ill, especially:  Marion Mraz,

Beverly Turok, Josephine Sarnoski, Elizabeth Connelly, Genevieve Casey, Peter Yazgier, Keith Bloomer,

Terri Mahoney, Josephine Martens and

Cathleen DeLorenzo that their suffering and trials may become sources of grace for themselves and others.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched.  They must be felt with the heart.

Ministry of Mothers Sharing – “MOMS”

The call to be a mother is a gift from God.  Mothers are entrusted with the spiritual and physical upbringing of their children and live with many demands on their time and energy.  Bring the companionship of other women into your busy life as a mother.

“MOMS” creates in women an awareness of the inner sacred self while at the same time teaching new ways to inspire, encourage, and affirm one another.  “MOMS” gives you an opportunity to clarify your values, claim your own giftedness, and bring these strengths to your family relationships and to the Christian community.
