Stewardship

Each of us has his or her own role to play in the coming of the kingdom of God. John the Baptist was called to be the herald of the Messiah, preparing the way of the Lord. To what is the Lord calling me?

2007 Bishops Annual Appeal

Disciples of ChristStewards of His Gifts

As the celebration of the birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rapidly approaches we are grateful to God for the many gifts He has shared with us.  Through baptism we are called to Discipleship.  The way we exhibit our discipleship is by sharing His Gifts of time, talent and treasure with others.  One important way to do this is through your support of the Bishop’s Annual Appeal which provides funding to more than twenty-five diocesan ministries.

Please be as generous as your means allow.  Gifts paid during this calendar year are tax deductible on your 2007 income tax return.

From the Desk of Father Dan

Bishop’s Annual Appeal Update

To date, you have pledged $29,246.25. You will recall, that our goal for this year is $29,300.00. We are short $53.75 from reaching that goal. If you have not yet made your pledge or sent a gift, this is the time to do so in order that we can close out this year’s appeal. In all previous years, we have reached and in some years exceeded our goal. I know that you will do so again this year.

My thanks in advance. God Bless You.
