Amos cries out against those who exploit the poor for
the sake of extortion and greed. They seek to serve only themselves rather than
the Lord. By giving ourselves to God rather than money (3), we can truly pray
with blameless hands for all those in need (2)., especially the poor whom the
Lord will raise up (Ps).
Stewardship
The dishonest manager in today’s parable knew how to manipulate money
to his own advantage.
But the Gospel warns that no one can serve both God and money. Which do I serve? Is my stewardship such that anyone can tell?

PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS including: Lucy Ciancia, Judy Salcewicz,
Tony Gangitano, David King, Haley Weber, Frank
Stashak, Josephine Sarnoski, Elizabeth Connelly, Joan Gould, Mary Pokotello,
Blanche Ferarro, Sheila Del Mastro, John & Peter Foxwell, Terese King, John

The Science of Stem Cells
Finding Cures and Protecting Life
Before you support “stem cell research”, be sure to
know all the facts. Certain kinds of stem cell research involves the
manipulation and destruction of living human embryos and often requires
scientists making new embryos by cloning humans. What price are we willing to pay? Please visit www.respectlifetoday.org to watch a
short documentary titled “The Science of
