The Lord is king and there is no other. We are to render to God,
therefore, fitting praise and service, as is God’s due. God’s word to us, in
turn, is a matter of power and strength, to be lived with conviction of heart.
Stewardship
The bishops’ pastoral
letter on stewardship reminds us, “Jesus not only calls people to him but also
forms them and sends them out in his service. Being sent on a mission is a
consequence of being a disciple.”

This guy goes to a costume party
with a girl on his back.
"What the heck are you?"
asks the host.
"I'm a snail" says the guy.
"But... you have a girl on your

replies the host.
"Yeah," he says,
"that's Michelle!"
