Stewardship
In the Gospel today, the owner of the vineyard sent messengers to
collect his share of the harvest from the tenant farmers, but there was not a

World Mission Sunday
October 19 Special Collection
World Mission Sunday,
organized by the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, is a day set aside
for Catholics worldwide to recommit themselves to the Church's missionary
activity through prayer and sacrifice.
World Mission Sunday is
"an important day in the life of the Church because it teaches how to
give: as an offering made to God, in the Eucharistic celebration and for all the
missions of the world" (see Redemptoris Missio 81).
The offerings that will
be collected [on World Mission Sunday] are destined for a common fund of
solidarity distributed, in the Pope's name, by the Society for the Propagation
of the Faith among the missions and missionaries of the entire world. Please be
as generous as your means allow.

Youth Group
News
Thank You, Thank You to all of the generous parishioners that have donated
items to the Ronald MacDonald House. The Youth Group is planning a visit
the first or second weekend in October and will deliver all the donated
items.
The
Youth Group is looking for donated items for their room. We just recently
removed the ping pong table that was there for many years since the wood rotted
away and the legs were unstable. Perhaps your children have grown and you
have a ping pong table or other table top game that is taking up space in your
house. We would be happy to take it off your hands. We are also
looking for board games and a VCR. Call Nora Lyons if you have something
to donate at 732-563-9459.
The Youth Group is looking
for new members to join us on Sunday evenings at 7.p.m.
