The souls of the just are in God’s hand. Christ, the Good Shepherd, died for us while we were still sinners. He is the resurrection and the life. If we have died with him, we shall also live with him.

Stewardship

On the Feast of All Souls we pray for those who have gone before us and stand in judgment before God. May we share with one another the treasure of love’s memory, and console one another with the assurance of resurrection.

PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS

For those who are ill, especially:  Josephine Sarnoski, Blanche Ferraro, Elizabeth Connelly, Genevieve Casey and Peter Yazgier.

OUR LADY OF MERCY NEWS

From the Desk of the Pastor

Next year will mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of Our Lady of Mercy her in South Bound Brook. To mark the occasion, I would like to put a committee together to plan for this anniversary.

Accordingly, I invite all interested parishioners to be part of the committee. Kindly contact the rectory if you would like to serve.

Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving

Have you purchased your Thanksgiving turkey and fixings yet? Why not use a Shop Rite gift card? They are available after each Mass every Sunday in $25, $50, and $100 amounts. By doing so you will enjoy a hearty Thanksgiving meal with your family and friends AND support your church.

The Holy Name Society and Altar Rosary Society have used the proceeds from selling Shop Rite gift cards to purchase a new holy water font for the elevator entrance and new bells for the Altar Servers to use during Mass.
