The waters flowing from the temple, the dwelling place of the Lord, brings forth life and growth. Jesus is the living sanctuary, and we his living body in the Spirit.

Stewardship

As we pray today for an increase of spiritual gifts, we are reminded by the bishops’ pastoral on stewardship that good stewardship of the Church “means cherishing and fostering the gifts of all, while using one’s own gifts to serve the community of faith.”

PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS

For those who are ill, especially:  Josephine Sarnoski, Blanche Ferraro, Elizabeth Connelly, Genevieve Casey and Peter Yazgier.

Thoughts For the Day

·        The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

·        The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

·        The sole purpose of a child's middle name is so he can tell when he's really in trouble.
